Strike Football Term 3 Holiday Camps

44

What an amazing two weeks of Strike camps we just had! We had 4 jam-packed days with 400 kids coming through strike camps across our two sites, one including Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre which launched Strike for the first time, making it one of the busiest school holiday camps to date!

What a way to launch our football program at our Picton site. We have two booked out sessions with some amazing kids and coaches! It was great to meet all those new strikers out at Picton and the coach enjoyed every minute of it. There was a variety of ages and skill levels in attendance showing that there is a lot of potential footballers in the region that we look forward to having in our Strike Football program as we launch in October! The Coaches and I would like to thank everyone who came to the launch and look forward to seeing you in the program and next school holidays!

The Strike camps are a condensed version of our Strike Football Program which is designed to introduce the fundamentals of football while having as much fun as possible at the same time! Our drills had specific focuses such as passing, shooting, dribbling, agility and even learning how to stretch correctly. As always each day was finished off with our Strike Mini World Cup, where players really got to show their individual talents and show all their new skills. As coaches, we love seeing the kids have fun and develop their skills at the same time! We can’t wait to see you all back next holidays!
